Joyce began her career in commercial real estate at the Horne Company in Houston. She joined Commercial Industrial Properties Company in 1986 and was taught the land brokerage business by her mentor, Frank Niendorff. She is now well known in the Central Texas market as a successful land broker, with loyal clients who appreciate her extensive knowledge and experience.
Joyce attended the School of Journalism at The University of Texas at Austin and worked as a reporter for The Houston Chronicle and as editor of several publications in Houston. She also owned a publishing company before beginning her commercial real estate career.
Joyce has served as President of the Presidential Glen MUD board (Municipal Utility District) and is a member of several professional organizations, including the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA), the Central Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (CTCAR), and the Austin Commercial Real Estate Society (ACRES).
Joyce’s passions outside of work over the years have included travel, walking her cocker spaniels, attending retreats and classes through her church, and spending time with her family and friends.
