Commercial Industrial Properties Overview

Commercial Industrial Properties, LLC, or CIP, was founded in 2018 by Bob Springer, Josh Hubka, and Robby Eaves. It is a full-service commercial real estate firm dedicated to providing superior service to buyers, sellers, tenants, landlords, and investors. Its diverse team of brokers enables it to fill each and every real estate need that arises.

If CIP sounds familiar, it should! CIP is an adaptation of a brokerage firm started in 1975 by Frank Niendorff. In fact, many of the brokers who are with CIP today were with the original Commercial Industrial Properties Company. Frank and his team had a lasting impact on Austin’s culture, helping to shape the city we know today. Commercial Industrial Properties Company was an integral part of bringing large tech companies to Austin, including Freescale, Applied Materials, Samsung, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Motorola, Lockheed, and many more.

In the late 1990s, Commercial Industrial Properties Company joined the NAI affiliation and became NAI Commercial Industrial Properties, later known simply as NAI Austin. In 2010, Frank retired and sold the firm to the NAI affiliate in San Antonio, creating NAI REOC Austin. After a few years, REOC ended its NAI Global affiliation and rebranded as REOC Austin.

CIP’s three principals all worked with the former companies at various times, as Josh and Robby began their careers under Frank’s tutelage in the NAI Commercial Industrial Properties days and Bob joined REOC Austin a few years later. Bob, Josh, and Robby collaborated and got Frank’s blessing to re-launch CIP, taking over ownership of REOC Austin in 2019 and rebranding it as Commercial Industrial Properties, LLC.

With our experienced and ethical brokers, deep relationships, cutting-edge technology, and passion for helping clients exceed their commercial real estate goals, CIP aims to continue shaping Austin as a market leader in all sectors of commercial real estate.

Commercial Industrial Properties clients are local, national and international organizations — a cross section of commercial, government and institutional property occupiers, owners and developers, and investor-buyers. Linked electronically among ourselves and with our clients, we’ve developed account and assignment-management systems that support and track effective decision-making 24/7. A fundamental goal: Minimize sale and lease cycle-times and maximize returns and value.
